As an entrepreneur, he started this hotel with the will of being a different establishment, providing a quality experience – looking further than the mere rating stars – and making his guests feel at home. Such goal couldn’t be met without making it accessible to everybody, so the hotel was built without any kind of architectural barriers and this includes a double room for people with limited mobility, being the first hotel in Oviedo to meet these needs.

Later, in 2006, the hotel was expanded reaching the current 42 rooms, fully equipped with bathroom, flat screen TV, telephone, air conditioning, heating and Wi-Fi.

Hotel Carreño has as well common facilities, exclusively for guests, such a private parking – with direct access to the lobby and the room floors -, the café – where they can taste a delicious breakfast -, a large room – suitable for meetings, conventions, exhibitions… – and a reading corner.

Times change and the hotel has been able to evolve with them, meeting every moment’s needs. The future of Hotel Carreño is now steered by the founder’s descendants that, following their father’s inspiration, work everyday keeping in mind their costumers’ comfort and always offering them a warm and familiar treatment.
